From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Risk concerns the deviation of one or more results of one or more future events from their expected value. Technically, the value of those results may be positive or negative. However, general usage tends to focus only on potential harm that may arise from a future event, which may accrue either from incurring a cost ("downside risk") or by failing to attain some benefit ("upside risk"). Answered by jeff410 - Sun Jul 27 01:01:52 2008 What are the disadvantages and risk of using a 1.5 terabyte hard disk?
Q. I'm planning to buy a terabyte. But I'm wondering the risk and disadvantages of owning one aside from massive loss of data if it breaks. Should I just buy multiple hard disk? what? Asked by Putang Ina Ang Kulit Mo! - Fri Apr 17 13:41:36 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Besides for the massive loss of data, the only thing that I can say goes against it would be the new tech part of it. Tb HDDs have only been released within the past year. There can be still "growing pains" with such "new tech" and problems such as bad drives and failures can still occur (but not as bad as if it just came out). The issue between multi HDDs or a tb HDD, it would depend on cost and company. If this a new build or a system that is under 2 years, I would go with a smaller OS HDD and use a terabyte HDD for data storage if I was expecting heavy data storage requirements (music, photos, games, etc). If this is for a older system over 2 years, I would avoid the TB HDD and go with smaller multiple HDDs. Answered by Manitou - Fri Apr 17 14:17:57 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "risk" No , no fun 3
